ADIC Sri Lanka


ADIC is an organization working in the field of drug demand reduction over last 15 years. During this period we have contributed substantially by introducing innovative and scientific based drug demand reduction strategies in Sri Lanka and to other countries especially in SAARC Region. The successful efforts to create a lasting change in communities by changing behaviors has been recognized by the World health Organization in 1993 by awarding ADIC with the prestigious WHO award, "Tobacco or Health Medal".

Sahanoda Foundation


The Founder of the Sahanoda Foundation is Mr. Bandula Weera-Wardana, a well known philanthropist and a ship owner. Founded in 1992 it has been incorporated as a Charitable Organization by Act of Parliament on 7th December 1999. The Foundation provides physical and financial spiritual assistance and guidance for children and the elderly in Sri Lanka. Homeless elderly people are helped by the provision of accommodation in the Elders' Home along with meals, clothing, entertainment and spiritual services.
